Nice's nightlife runs the whole gamut from grungy backpacker bars in the old town through to glitzy nightclubs where the rich and beautiful descend to see and be seen. In short, there is something for everyone in the city centre.

During the day there is a lively market on cours Saleya, which mainly focuses on bright and fragrant flowers as well as fruit and veg. In summer there is a nightly arts and crafts market geared towards tourists in the same place.
